June 2006 addition

I am retired and am now a full time grandmother with 3

grandchildren Since the last time Isubmitted information,

my daughter has had identical twin girls, Maddison and

Gemma, who are now going on 2 years old. We hope to

be in Israel next year - so far its been too hectic helping

out with the twins, only someone who has had twins will

truly recognise how difficult that is. Louis deVries once

said, the first three years are hell. Whilst it hasn't quite

been that it has had its moments.

Family:

Married to Shlomo (known as Mony) a few days before the

Six Day War which was our honeymoon.Returned to

Australia after the war and continued studying  and

working. Subsequently had 2 daughters named Leora and

Yael who are both teachers. Leora is marrried to Mark and

they have a son, my only  grandchild so far, named, Kobe.

with  Stephanie Gilbert (Singer)  z"l in 1959.Post Machon:

 elected  Mefaked of Betar Melbourne; Editor of  Haderech;

participated in camps, National conferences and

 everything.

where I renewed my friendships with our

 Sydney colleagues.

Returned to Melbourne and went to  Israel in 1966.

Completed PhD in  psychology in 1987.  Still working as
